| The former Oyster Lounge (which is no less than a block from the Jefferson Hotel) has been vacant for awhile but evidence of its former self remains. Thanks to Gage, I was informed the Lounge used to be a gay bar and also a strip bar. One feature that lots of people seem to remember is that the bar was lined with silver dollar that were under glass. The sign is pretty indistinguishable now,but used to be the shape of a guitar. |
