| The Quail Creek Cinema used to be a small theater on Shreveport-Barksdale highway. Before Tinseltown, Quail Creek was a two screen theater but gradually expanded to four. The theater was unique to the area because it was one of the only places that would show foreign and independent films Once Tinseltown arrived in Shreveport, local theaters struggled to compete, in which many were forced to close. Quail Creek felt the impact was well and eventually closed. The theater was completely demolished in 2007. |
